Thanks I found the prototype of my Eagle but mine has stainless siding and single headlights but has the euro cap and a single door look at memories 4 and photo 585 and tell me what you think you won't hurt my feeling that is a good site for all bus people thanks again guys
the old girl was ready to fly 38 years ago thanks for the info and a great site but the music stops when looking at the pictures( bummer)
unless your writing for a Eagle only Publication.....you might want to consider including the several Turbine MCI's that were made. Although I know about the Eagle I don;t think I have ever seen any brochures or info published on it, where there were several published thiings on the MCI's
Tekebird I know about the MCI7 are there others I will not leave you guys out got a question for you did they ever use those for revenue service. The Eagle turbine was used between New York and LA
both the7 and 8 turbines were operated by Greyhound
I believe the Grayhound turbines were GM rather than the Ford turbines in the trailways. I remember seeing an MC7 with turbine and a diesel powered both at the light. The turbine powered just dusted the diesel powered-but fuel mileage is not good with turbines, since they use almost as much at idle as with full power. Good Luck, TomC
