Title: 102C3 fenders
Post by: dolson on March 27, 2008, 04:20:26 PM
I am looking for a set of the factory rubber fenders for the rear on my 102C3; I need both halves for the right rear.  I have a new set of the R&M fiberglass fenders but do not think that I will use them.  I realize that I can get the fenders from MCI but I would like to keep all of my appendages in the process.

Thanks

I may be interested if they are in good shape, most of mine look good except for the left rear so with what you have surely I can come up with a good set.  The R&M fenders look good but seem like they would be a little fragile, also I have not actually seen a set on a bus in person and I am not sure how to install them without a bunch of exposed rivets and the R&M installation video was little help.  The installation instructions on Fred Hobe's site seems quite different than you installed yours.

Hi Doug,

I have a complete metal shop that was a great help. The R&M fenders are a challenge to make them look professional.

My biggest fear is a tire blow out, the whole thing will shatter in that event.

My rubber fenders are in OK shape if you want them.

Dolson, I don't know if they make fenders for MCI or not but my Bluebird had JKC fender on the front and rear I do know they make them for Prevost go to    www.luxurycoachesforsale.com    and they have a photo of the fenders on a Prevost and see if they are any better for you
