Title: Long shot: who posted link with good price for circulating pumps?
Post by: belfert on March 21, 2008, 07:57:41 PM
Some time in the last 90 days someone posted a link to a solar web site that had really good prices on March circulating pumps.  The price was right around $200 and most places are much higher priced.  Anyone remember this?

I spent a good two hours running searchs here and didn't find the post.  I also searched Google for prices on the same pump and came up with $240 as the lowest price.

I remember posting in that thread, but my post may not have been the one you remember.  Anyway here it is again.  I ended up buying a Johnson pump to replace an Espar unit in my heating system and bought it from these people:

Probably all 12 volt, but the price sounds better so far.

Mine were just under that in '04. I got them through Indelco plastics in St. Louis Park.

I'll have to call Indelco on Monday.  They have about 75 different March pumps on their website, but not the 809 series.

I suspect prices have gone up with metal and oil prices going up.  The prices I've found so far for the 809-BR-HS-24 range from $240 to $340.  I really wish I would have saved that link that someone posted that showed the 809-BR-HS-24 for around $200.

LESS than $200
This is the pump I am using, first found it in my Mercedes as a defrost heater pump. I purchased one new for potable hot water circulation and some used for coolant circulation.
They are magnetic drive and last a long time 8 years in car no problems [don't know how long before I got car]

I recall the thread were the link was posted was not my thread.  It was in another thread.  I just happened upon the information somehow.  I should have bookmarked or something, but I did not.
