Title: back from trip
Post by: jlaney on March 16, 2008, 06:47:55 PM
hello bluegrass pickers
just got in from a week long picking at carvers music park in queen city,
texas. the bus made it fine , lost a rear tire while in the yard, ran over
my step, which was a car ramp. it went in the ground , but cut the side
of a 24.5 tire. the rest of the trip was ok. we played from about 9 am to
11pm each day.  thanks jt.

JT...I envy your week long picking session!  If you're ever up in North Carolina, stop in and we'll get a big'ol jam session going!  I garuntee!  I can get some pickers together! Not sure I could pick from 9A to ????... geezeritis is setting in!   What do you play?
Reckon the Doyle Lawson Family (???_) Style Bluegrass  Festival at Denton Farm Park will be our first 'week long' bluegrass outing this year.  Got a couple of trips planned before that.
I don't know what to do when there ain't no pickin'.   That's about all we do with the bus...camp and pick.    Bluegrass festivals are cool!  And bus friendly!
Post some pix of your trip!
