Thanks Luvrbus.
Will a std auto trans jack do the trick or do i need a special one?
How hard is it to remove the trans so I can get at the rear main to replace it?
Thanx

Double A bus in Central CT might do it for you

I looked at doing this on my MCI 8 and was quoted a 40 hour job.  They were going to pull engine.   I don't remember if they planned to pull trans also.

I found that I could significantly reduce leakage by reducing pressures in the breather system.    I had cobbled a drip tank from the breathers but even though I thought I had good air flow, the small pressure increase caused heavier oil leakage from rear main seal.
