Title: Steering Column MCI5A
Post by: GaryBlair on June 05, 2006, 01:16:04 AM
I just purchased a 1984 Winnie 33 ft. I removing parts to use on my brothers conversion. HOWEVER my question , is the steering column on the Winnie strong enough to use on my MCI5A? I was looking over the Winnie yesterday and maybe it was a case of the stupids came over me, SO don't be afraid to tell me LOL.
Thank

Personally-I wouldn't use it.  Just look at the construction differences between the Winnie column and the bus column.  Besides, would you feel 100% confident on using that Winnie steering column in the event you loose power and have to wrestle the steering wheel to bring the bus to a safe stop?  I don't.  Good Luck, TomC
