I was able to visit Coach Maintenance in Williams CA today.
Lots of old coaches and a few that are being restored.
The following link includes pictures taken.

Nick-
One can never have enough Scenicruisers! ;D :o 8) ::)
Ted is doing a great job. I hope to get out there one day . . . .
He was one of the guys that inspired me to restore one to full seated in hound livery ;D
Hi Nick,
The one scenic he is restoring is very nice, mechanical and exterior is done. Inside is a bit rough, just needs some cleaning up. If I remember he has four of them.
No Ealges though, but I sure drooled the whole time I was there.
Amazing place to troll through.
Paul
Now Nick, exactly how many is too many Scenicruisers? I am looking for more myself...just can't get my rich mom to turn loose of those millions yet! ;D
Did you not know that Kyle, Tom McNalley and me are charter members of the 'Save the Scenicruisers from the scrapyard Club' charted by the ASPCA! ::)
I too am looking forward to getting out to the left coast to look at the buses there.
Ya'll take care now!

Paul, what did you have Ted do to your bus. I am a little miffed you did not even come buy and say hi & let me buy you a soda even if you didn't want me to work on the bus for you. Bet you went right buy me. Lol lol lol
Don
Hi Don,
I did not have Ted work on our Eagle, I flew into Sacramento, rented a car and headed to Marysville for a job.
I definitely would have been by your place if I was down that way, maybe another time. I'll take a rain check on that soda!
Ted did have an Eagle 15 there last week. When I asked him if he had any Eagles, he smiled and said "Strike One". That told me a lot. He is into the "Other Brands".....
He is quite a guy, enjoyed my visit.
Paul
OK I'll let you off the hook this time. I am trying to put a trip to san Antonio and Houston together some time by the end of march. If I can swing it I will let you know and come by and see you if you are home.
Don
Don,
I might be heading back out on the week of March 24th, not sure yet. Let me know as soon as you find out when you'll be heading this way. Hope it works out, would like to meet you, the DD guru himself. ;)
This is one of my favorites of the buses he had, for those who have not gone to the link yet.

Here is another one.
Sorry Kyle, this one is taken! ;)
Couldn't get a good pic of the front, too close to his shop, so here's the rear view.
Paul
I love to see those old Fageols not many of them around I see there were 2 there I have only seen one and it did not have any of the body left, just the frame from the firewall back.
I did see you go an AC Mack in there love them too!
Hey Paul you said that you are going to Marysville, I was station there in the Air Force For 2 years at Beal Air Force Base. I sure like it there, I've been wanting to go back and see the place again.

FANTASY
Pete,
The plant I am working in is 1/4 mile north of the runway. Lots of plane traffic, U2 spy planes and a couple of fighter jets I know not what they are. They are sure loud though. You can wave at the pilots as they land and they wave back, we're that close.
Paul
Wow!
Thanks Paul!
Wonder if he wants an apprentice in the Spring of 2016....?
happy coaching!

That is what I see when I look at mine :o
Talk about rose colored glasses 8)
My wife is very happy we live in Texas. Because if we lived anywhere close to Coach Maintenance she might be another bus widow. Don't tell her I said that, OK.
I hope someone can carry on his work after he is gone into bus heaven. I was told most of his stuff goes to the Pacific Bus Museum, not sure though. It would be a bus restorers dream, course you would have to own a bank to do what really needs to be done. He really has some coaches that need saving.

8028 belongs to my buddy David Pagel of Anderson, CA. He drives for Greyhound currently. Bus is nearly finished. Very nice restoration. He and Ted are good friends.
