Fleetwood RV Camping Resort

Located just off Speedway Boulevard (I-85, exit 49), the Fleetwood RV Racing Camping Resort near Charlotte, NC is a short walk from the front stretch of America's premier race place, Lowe's Motor Speedway. The rally park is a short drive from the shopper's paradise of Concord Mills, and is adjacent to the renowned Rocky River Golf Course.
The campground reservation number is 704-455-4445, but approximately 25 spaces are being held for the SE Bus Nuts, and no advance reservation is needed. Just show up, register and pay for camping, and a then rally volunteer will sign you in for the rally and direct you to our location. Our camping rate is $25. per night, separate from the rally fee.  Arrive early if you like!
All sites are equipped with electricity, sewer, water hookups and a picnic table.  An open Pavilion is available to us that features a kitchen, stage, and large seating area that have hosted many prior rallies. A modern restroom and shower facility completes the amenities.
Fishing is allowed in the ponds on the camping property on a fish and release rule. The lakes were originally stocked with 200 bass, 100 shell crackers, 200 bluegills and 100 catfish. There are benches and swings by the ponds so our guests can sit back and relax while they wait on the "big" one to bite.
Boat Tour event:
On Friday the rally will car pool to Queen's Landing on beautiful Lake  Norman, for a 1-1/2 hour sightseeing and luncheon tour of the lake. Both Jack Campbell and son Jerry and their families have spent most of their adult lives on the Lake, and both will be on hand to add to the narration. The Catawba Queen, our vessel, is a replica Mississippi Riverboat paddlewheeler. A light lunch and soft beverages are included, and a full cash bar is also available. You'll view many exquisite homes, beautiful wildlife, and the natural beauty of the lake, including some of Jerry Campbell's docks and piers!

Nick, you are right... Thursday is the 10th, so the official dates of the rally are Thursday the 10th to Sunday the 13th.  But as Jack notes, many of our Southeast Bus Nuts members tend to show up a day or two early to get in position and start things rolling.

We hope all you hardy souls have a great time at the Rally.  As for Jackie & me, we're going to stick it out in FL until the first of May...we went home to NC in April last year and liked to have froze to death. Not the hardy pioneer stock we once were.

Besides, if we were there we wouldn't get the chance to see Kyle's latest Sceni acquisition this week end here in FL.

Have a great time...we'll be home in a few weeks.
