Title: Plumbing fixtures
Post by: Bob & Tracey on March 06, 2008, 11:18:42 AM
Hi,

I want to replace the faucets in the galley and head. What is the better plumbing fixture to use, one made for RV use or one ment for our homes?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob,

Hands down, the fixtures made for homes.  But, what are your limitations? Will home styles fit in your locations?

It really is a matter of prefrence and how you plan to use your coach. also, the quality of fixtures that you like.

Do it your way!

Nothing but Moen as far as I am concerned.  I bought something that looked like Moen at the local Home Hardware, had nothing but grief installing it, when I did get it installed it leaked like a shower head.  So I manned up and bought the fixture I should have bought the first time.  It took about 2 minutes to install and has worked perfect ever since.

Thanks, that is what I was thinking. Yes we can use either and my preference is residential fixtures.

I have Price Pfister for my kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and shower-all matching, with no problems in the 12 years in service-all bought from Home Depot. Good Luck, TomC
