I outsmarted myself when I took a 3 week road trip in the toad last month. I plugged the fridge in directly to a 120 power cord; must have had a lightening surge (real surprise here in Florida!). A prior thread suggested that since there's 12v at the board, no power to the eyebrow, or inside light... it was a good guess that the control board was fried. I called Dinosaur (http://www.dinosaurelectronics.com/index.htm) to find a dealer nearby. Guess what? Got a call back from Gus, the founder who talked me through a diagnostics to tell for certain the board was fried. He wanted me to check the sn to see if it was still under warranty (but it was fried!!! he said let's check anyway!) He gave me the name of a local dealer and an 800 number to order the part directly. The dealer here in Ft. Myers didn't have it in stock but I called the 800 and ordered it for $105 (way under any other price I'd seen) and shipped it overnite! The moral.... there's still a few, made-in-America, family-owned businesses that make really quality, dependable products. Anyone wanting more info on Dinosaur and this supplier, gimmie a holler!

I'll second that!! My few dealings with Dinosaur electronics have been very positive.
