Title: For anyone running twin Coleman basement airs - or is knowledgeable
Post by: Paladin on March 02, 2008, 03:48:55 PM
I'd love to chat with anyone who has installed or is planning on installing 2 of these.

I'd like to see how you are doing it and hear if you have any tips.

Related side note: Where is the best place to get these? I've been told Ron the Bus nut, anyone else?

I got ours from RonThe Busnut.  We installed 1. We had pour bus spray foamed with 2" and added an additional 4-5" of pink foam in the ceiling.  We have no trouble maintaining 78 in SW Florida in the summer.  Jack
PS: make all ducts to exact dimensions as specified in the installation manual.  Jack

Hi Paladin,

Not Coleman, but Dometic.. Same idea, two 15,000 btu heat pumps stacked neatly in one corner of my drivers side middle bay.

Pics, Pics, ok

This shot is from before I added the Hydronic coil in the return duct.

I even had alot of room left over for the RS300 inverter.
