I bought from the seller familyrvrepair on Ebay.  Best prices I could find for brand new roof tops.  They have listed on Ebay or can get anything Carriers makes for an RV.  They operate a real bricks and mortar RV dealer in Florida so they aren't just an Ebay seller.

When pricing rooftop heatpumps don't forget the inner trim and the thermostats...and freight.
Shipping is expensive.
May find the best deal at the nearest Camper World.
You may want to check with PPL...they often have 'deals' going on slower moving items.
I've got two Dometic rooftop heatpumps that have worked quite well for 5 years now.

Hi Doug,

Dometic has plenty of dealers in Oklahoma, here is a link to search them.

I bought all mine from the same place Brian Elfert did, great service, even when a problem developed.  cheapest around for Carrier if you go with that brand

Like a couple of others, I also bought my Carrier from familyrvrepair on eBay.  The inside section arrived with a small chip on it.  I called the seller up and was sent a new one.  I didn't even have to send the old one back.  I have a friend who bought a gas/elec. 'fridge from this seller, and she was very happy with the prices.

The one disadvantage with the Carrier like the Coleman is the fan is a little bit noisy even on low.  It really is not an issue for me as I never have a power pole and always run the generator when the A/C is on.  I don't have any issue sleeping with the generator and A/C running and neither do my friends.  (Yes, I have a CO detector.)

I choose the Carrier because of price and it appeared to have the lowest amp draw of any of the rooftops.  The amp draw will be important if I ever get my alternator connected to my house system.

Dometic has three fan settings and is reported to be quieter than the others on the lowest fan setting.

I bought mine from Nick his prices are competitive and his shipping was first rate, when I ordered all three heat pumps from him someone at the trucking company decided they liked them too................My order was one unit short, one call to Nick and the alll new order was on the way, they didn't even wait for insurance claim or anything...............Thanks again Nick!
