Is this an outtake from the movie "RV"? No, I KNOW! It's the new "Civilian Camouflage Landing Craft"! But if you hit a gator in Florida, is that covered by auto insurance, or boat?
Either way, keep that thing out of Haiti or Cuba or the Coast Guard won't know what to do! ;D
Hi GH,
This guy had a feature spot on Good Morning America about 3 years ago. He spent over a million $ making this thing work.
This was a bus, not sure I remember but I think an 102A3. He has slides, sponsons that inflate, corion, marble, & leather int. The Works!
Neat Huh..

Hello Nick and Everybody,
Not that I would have saved this in my favorites or anything like that! LOL! But I went back and found the answer to Nick's statement/question and posted it for those who wish to know! And by the way last time I checked the Terrawind 2 had not been a reality yet! (probably still try'n to "float the financing" for development! LOL!)
;D BK ;D
Q: What kind of chassis is it on? It is not on an existing chassis. A: The Terra Wind is built from the ground up. We start by building an all aluminum 3/16 marine plate hull. Once the integrity of the hull is assured we build a motor coach on top of the boat hull. This is truly a boat on wheels.

Great pictures. Thank you. Yeah, it said that, as shown, about $1.2 million. Wow! A $100K here, a $100K there, pretty soon it adds up to big $money$ Wonder how in the world they did it? Glad now I always get sea sick. :) :) :)
