I stopped at Home Depot today for a roll of tin for my hvac project in the bus.
As I was walking out with the roll I was mentally reminding myself to wear gloves, goggles etc when I worked it. Just then as I was lifting it into the truck my thumb caught the bottom corner and yep!
I sliced my thumb twice really nicely in one really quick slash.
I put down the roll and walked back into the store with blood streaming down my arm into my other hand I was try to catch the blood in. I left a trail of blood all across the lot, into the store and into the bathroom. They put a couple of butterfly bandages on me which have soaked through again now and I'm seeping pretty good again. Looks like I'll be putting off my work for about another week now.
