I currently own this bus and I am having a great time with it. One thing i wonder about is that it was first owned by  the "Chicago- Joliet Joint band AFL-CIO."  Who, or what was this. The destination signs are all Afl-Cio related places.  Any Ideas?

TEKE, that part i figured out. What about the rest? Was it a musicians group that played the union gatherings? I'm just curious.

like all good unions it was a way to spend union dues.

likely used to transport stikers, transport people to political ralley etc.

having been embedded in a US Congress camaign 2 years ago I can attest that alot of the people you see at rally's are plants in particular the open public type rally's
