Author David Smead has a VERY incorrect understanding of what 50 amp service is. On pages 50 and 51 he repeatedly refers to it as being two 25 amp 120 volt circuits that are out of phase and share a common neutral. This is simply WRONG, it is two 120 volt 50 amp circuits that are out of phase and share a common neutral.
