This is a good buy on a 8v71 turbo engine if any body wants it.seller dosen't say if its a TA model or not

It's good if you want to do some changing of parts.

The flywheel housing and block plate the turbo the injectors and remove the blower and pull the air heater out of it. If you have the time and money go for it. I buy these engines from time to time for a lot less and use them for parts.

Don a friend of mine e mailed the information to me after your post I went to ebay and looked I did not know it was a military engine but at todays parts prices from DD it still a good price with 0 hrs if indeed that is true

Judging by the turbo size, I'd say that engine is set at 600hp-which is to high for any kind of bus application if you want to get more than 80,000 miles out of it.  From the looks of it, it is a tank engine.  Suggest you look for a truck engine and avoid all the specialized military equipment typically found on these types of engines that we can't get.  Good Luck, TomC
