Title: Quartzsite rally report
Post by: rusty on January 23, 2008, 09:33:13 AM
The 2008 Quartzsite Eagles International rally is in the books. Fun was had by all. Between 35 and 40 eagles and about 8 S.O.B. (some other brand) showed up.
The weather according to the southern latitude people was a bit cool to us northern latitude people the  weather was fine.
The food was great. Coffee and doughnuts every morning. Friday night we had hot dogs. Saturday night Dave cooked New York Strip that was out of this world. Thanks to all of the ladies for the pot luck. We are lucky to be associated with so many great cooks.
Thanks to all for the firewood. The evening chats around the campfire were full of entertaining and usefull conversation.
Thanks to Songman for all the pictures, you did a great job. I noticed more cameras if someone else has pictures feel free to post them.
To the nonbelievers we parked in a place where the soil was a reddish brown color no one knew we were there.
Thanks to all who helped make the rally a success to many to mention all of them.
Our next rally is in the planning stage. It will be in Branson Mo. in the fall. Byron always has a great rally. When details are final I will post them on the calender.

                                       Thank you all
                                        Rusty

I never did make it back to your coach with my camera! That was some beautiful work you did in there. I asked before we left on Sunday and someone said they thought you had gone to Mexico! haha.. Next time I want to make sure and get pictures. I told my wife all about it!

We'll be in Pomona and Hemet if you are going to make either of those.
