Does anyone know of a good place to buy a xantrex inverter / charger at a fair price and have instock? Somthing around 3000Watts with 140 amp charge. Leaving in 2 days on 2 months gospel / bluegrass singing tour and needs to be able to ship to where I will be. Having trouble with my unit.

jatnip, I shopped for a pure sine for weeks and found that all are about the same price as one will offer free shipping,the other will have the controls in the price and,others have a low price and charge for every item.So many of the xantrex(trace) inverters are not being made any longer or made in China it was hard to figure out what to buy so I bought a Outback. Don Rowe seem to have a good price on xantrex as he includes everything with shipping. www.donrowe.com also check Wrico (Dick Wright)they sell both xantrex and magnum inverters
I picked up a new Trace DR3624 on the E place, 3600 watts 3 stage 1140amp charger for $700. You may run into a problem having anything purchased with a charge card shipped to an address other than your billing address. If you travel alot you are use to this.
If not pick the address you want it shipped to and have this set up as a secondary address on your credit card. Do this as soon as possible as it may take from several hours to a week for the address to show on your account.
If your older unit is a Xantrex unit you can call Xantrex and they will sell direct to you and give you a loyalty discount which will amount to about 40% discount. I just purchased a Model 81-3011-12 which is a Marine 3000 watt unit Dual in Dual outlet and 140 Amp charger for $960.00 + shipping $45.00.
