anyone in the North East planning on ordering. Perhaps we can go together and save on shipping?
You're gonna love those windows! They shipped all 8 of mine in one very nicely constructed crate. There was some discussion about the sedan window and they said that they couldn't add anything else to the crate. Shipping was going to be on two crates had I ordered the entry door window. So I didn't. But be sure and get the drivers slider.
I consider the Pen windows my best modification. Really nice windows.
Sorry I cannot help with your actual question...but...I support your choice of windows! For whatever that's worth! ;)
Are you buying RV style? Or OEM bus frame inserts? I used the bus inserts and they were a tidy bit of work. Got down to one window, start to finish, 1 hr, 10 minutes.
Post some pix of your project!
BTW, my window crate weighed about 460lbs. Be ready to deal with the weight. A front loader works well for unloading the heavy things!! Farm equipment is a necessary tool for bus converting! ;)
Cheers, JR
Great company to deal with. I do however have once bit of advice for anyone ordering windows from them.
Have your windows shipped to a business address in the nearest large town/city to you, that has a loading dock or forklift. Or possibly the trucking depot. Then pick them up from there.
The great deals Jeff makes us can quickly be eaten up if the shipping charges aren't kept as low as possible, and this is one way of doing that.

Hi Doug,
When you are ready, I'd like to order a entrance door window for my coach.
Nick-
where are you located at when you say 'northeast'?
AB
I'm in Harrisburg, PA.
I have a cracked OEM Dual pane on my MC-8 and can't find an OEM relacement so I am stuck with what to buy.
JR and all - thank you for mentioning the shipping weight!!!!
I had NO idea, and was going to be ordering these this year. What a surprise that would have been. I shall make plans accordingly.
What a great board! ;D ;D ;D :D :D
Best Regards, Phil
I always pick up any freight at the terminal to avoid the residential delivery fees and the liftgate fee. They also have forklifts at the terminal. (Some of you have forklifts, tractors, and/or skid loaders at home, but I don't.)
When I got my Peninsula windows I had the crate loaded into a pickup at the terminal. Once home, my buddy and I dismantled the crate on the pickup and removed each window one at a time. There was no way we could lift the entire crate.
:)I replaced all the windows except windshield and back window last summer on my 4106 with penninsula glass 1500 series I first ordered two side windows and put them in. crate was easy to handle. However the crate with the other 6 side window, 2 D windows and drivers and entrance door window was another story. shipping weight was close to 600lbs. I did similiar to other guys...had mine held for customer pick up at conway freight dock here in cincinnati. picked up on my landscape trailer with drop gate. When I was younger, I peddled freight in chicago, so i knew the cost and hassle of residential delivery...no way. Workied out great. As far as the windows go..incredible...we love them...screens and all. It is amazing how those guys can build windows that fit that well. installation is a simple. You just gotta be sure that you can get to the inside of the window to install the trim rails. They are not cheap..but wife loves them and so do I.
How much are they getting for GM style windows? My window panes are Lucite and rattle like the dickens. New windows would be sweet!
first you have to determine if fishbowl windows are the same as either the 4107/8 or 4903/5
they are like 400 something each
