Title: Right Hand Drive Eagle In Movie?
Post by: HB of CJ on January 02, 2008, 02:16:42 PM
We watched a DVD titled "Slip Stream" (10 minute time travel) filmed in South Africa and an Eagle Coach in the film had right hand steering with a left side front entry door.  Looked in absolutely mint condition.  Plot location supposed to be somewhere in the USA.  Did they reverse the film somehow (movie magic) or do right hand drive Eagles really exist?  I dunno and the World Wonders.  :) :) :)

right drive GM's and Right Drive MCI's and Right drive Flxibles......would not doubt right drive Eagle.

Photos as well as film/video can be very misleading as far as condition......some vehicles that I know have been in films.....alot of these are very very rough in real life, but looked great on film

There are Eagles in Australia, and the Aussies drive on the correct side of the road (ie, the left!)

A friend had a barnful of older cars. Hollywood came around and borrowed a few.

First thing: never again. Horrible hateful mean arrogant rude people. You're shocked, I'm sure.

Second thing: They have a special kind of paint. Thick plastic; rusty scaly spots don't show through. Hose it over a rusty pile of sheet metal in the shape of an old car, no prospect of restoration. Looks like new for about two weeks. Deteriorates fast, falls off in sheets. Car reverts to rusty crusty condition.

Not unlike the actors and actresses.
