Post by: grantgoold on December 28, 2007, 09:27:08 PM
Anyone installed a datron system on their bus? Does anyone have the system on their bus today? Any feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Grant

Hi Grant

I had a Datron in Motion system for 2 years. Never worked that great, doesn't receive HD channels or locals. Works only with certain receivers like Sony. Also no tech support or upgrades available any more.
I bought a TracStar SV360 last month , it works great and easy to install. Works with Direct, Dish and Bell providers.

With the Datron I would lose the signal at truck stops while under the roof at fuel stands, and it would take along time to find the signal when I pulled ahead from the fuel stand. With the TracStar SV360 soon as I pull ahead the picture would come on right away.
