Have any of you guys notice the sense of humor some of these Eagle Bus owners have about the rust issue. In the post about the Eagle rally in Quartzsite the guy calls himself Rusty. I own a Eagle and I am not making fun of him I just find it amazing after all the posting about rust on Eagles the way owners deal with it. All Eagle owners may not find humor in it but the ones I have met so far do.
Makemine,
I saw that the other day on the home page by the rally information and got a chuckle out of it. ;D
You are not alone... ::)
I try not to take myself or my projects too seriously, after all, both are finite.

at this point if I didnt have a sense of humor I would lost it and crushed the whole thing down to the size of an endtable. I am still replaceing steel. on a good note there is only about 10,000 feet of steel and 9,000 of it is new. of course at my rate it is a little like painting the golden gate bridge, by the time I am done the first parts I replaced will be rusted and have to be replaced. and the circle continues. on the other hand it keeps me busy and away from cheap beer and expensive women, or is it cheap women and expensive beer. never can keep that straight.

I get a kick out of it, I don't think the comments are really seroius, all buses have an issue of some sort, I figure when an eagle is being picked on, a mci is smiling lol, (as the air bags slowly leak lol). Dallas says that he sleeps well just by listening to an eagle rust, sort of like rain on the roof lol.

So that's what that strange noise that has been keeping me awake at night is! No wonder it went away for 2 nights while the Eagle was parked in the garage! LOL! ;D
;D BK ;D
BK, that strange noise that you heard wasn't the eagle rusting, it was Libby snoring. lol
I didn't know Eagles rust! i thought the orange was the primer.
It is the primer. That's all that was left after the metal was gone.
In the shop where cody and libby were parked there are little puddles of eagle here and there.
Puddles of eagle? lol, And here I thought they were tears of joy at the possibility of working on a real, honest to goodness eagle.
All that red stuff just makes our coach lighter! ;D Therefore we get much better mpg! Not to worry, it also makes for a faster get away.
Into every life, a little rust must fall. ;D
all this negative talk about Eagles is distressing. Please stop knockin them cuase it makes me sad and i'll cry and the tears are salty and cause orange spots on the rug.
Rust or primer the Eagle has class
Actually the Eagles were designed for GM diesels and then Detroit Diesel went and slowed the oil leaks. ;)
