Title: kingpins needed for a Silversides
Post by: John Z on December 14, 2007, 06:34:25 AM
I had dinner with the folks who recently brought the Silversides home from AZ. He mentioned he is having no luck trying to find parts for it yet. He has not got around to signing up to the boards i suggested to him, so i am asking for him. Does anyone know of a source for parts for the Silversides? First on his list are kingpins. TIA, John Z

Oops, i forgot the other item he wants to get done soon - spring brakes! He is looking for the parts and the info on switching over to spring brakes so any help here would be appreciated.

thats pretty ballsey buying a bus that needs Kingpins without checking to see if they can be had.

With that said they were likely a vendor part....so if not easily ID'd as a crossover to antoher bus...someone will have their homework in trying to match them up.

Hi John Z,
With the part number provided by Roadrunnertex, call Mohawk 800-323-7652. My guess is that you will have the parts as quickly as UPS can get them to you.
Good luck, Sam 4106

Try to cross reference it to a Meritor number. Maybe that will help too.
Good luck  8)
