I have a Stewart Warner Hotbox I am installing in my bus. It's almost new, and was only taken out of service because the shiny aluminum cover got dented.
What I'm looking for is an Owners Manual or a Installation manual so I can put it in once and not have to mess with it again, (yeah Right! :D )
I checked the Sewart Warner website, but didn't find any place that had a download.
TIA
Dallas
What is it ???
Pics ???
Don't reckon I have manual. ::)
A Hotbox is what Trucks use to use to keep engines and sleepers warm up in the cold, cold, north.
Pretty much the same thing as the gas heaters built by Southwind in the 30's up to the 90's.
This one is going to go in front of my drive axle on the passenger side in a spot where the PO had a propane tank.

Always interesting and educational Dallas, thanks
sorry I can't help you though.
Dallas,
I couldn't find anything either, you might just have to send them an email.

Dallas,
After much searching I found the copy I printed off the internet a couple of years ago when someone had it posted.
I don't remember if it was on the Sout Wind site or somewhere else. ;D ;D
The manual I have is titled "Stewart Warner South Wind Corp. 9000 Dual-voltage Hot Box Installation & Service Manual.
If this is what you need, I will scan it and send it to you.
I have this heater and two military diesel air heaters, and none of them hooked up yet!
