Title: Rain leaks around window gasket
Post by: Jerry Liebler on November 26, 2007, 12:53:16 PM
It's been raining like crazy here & that's good because we've had a serious drought BUT.  My bus has an annoying dripping leak that appears to be on the body side of the gasket around the 'vista' window.  I can't do much while it's still raining but gather data.  What is the 'best' way to seal it up properly.  It is relatively new rubber and I sanded and painted the body metal around it before installing the new rubber.  Is there a good sealant I can 'inject' between the rubber and body metal without a complete removal and re-installation?

Jerry,
try PL Roof and Flashing Sealant. It's Polyurethane and can be applied in moist areas.
