Anyone here ever tried to work with the top bay doors on a Scenicruiser to make them go higher in the up position in order to not "BOP" your head on them?
Any and all ideas considered!
The one with the best idea gets a nice prize!
Thanks so much in advance!

Are you trying to second-guess the factory here? ???
Bonkin' your noggin' on baggage bin doors is a time-honored tradition in the bus business - more points if you draw blood!
And on a Scenic, shin bangin' on the lower bay door is an added bonus! The bigger the bruise, the more points, too!

On a more serious note, you need to get together with Chaz and see if you can figure out how to make the doors operate similar to the Buffalo that he has - far less noggin' bonkin' on those.
FWIW & HTH. . .
;)
Mine came with latches that hold the door all the way in the up position, similar to what holds the entry door open on a motorhome. The lowers are still available for "shin bruise points"

when i was looking to buy my old cruiser, the first thing to happen was the top bay door rubber hindge broke and the door fell on my head. but the lower portion sure makes good place to do some serious bluegrass jaming. don't know if drilling another hole for the pin to insert would help
thanks jt.
