Thanks for what you do for our community Mike! Hey, I'm giving MAK thanks on Thanksgiving! Gotta mean something!
I'm not currently a subscriber, but have been in the past. And while I know it would be no simple task, I'll gladly sign up again if you can figure out how to supply me with an online version of the mag.

Mike, does this mean that the magazine is going back more like it was in 90s when it was a great magazine. i haven't subscribed in a couple of years because the articles were the same as the ones in 90s written by the same authors.I too would pay for a on line version of the magazine
Online version? Yes, we are bring back the old magazine with energy and passion. If we had a premium side to this website, that you could read the entire magazine and get other info, what would that be worth on a yearly bases? How many would sign up to pay for it? I still think you should subscribe to the printed one... just because it helps
Mike the reason i would like a on line version is because i use my bus about 7 months every year and it would be nice if you did not have to depend on our great postal system to get the magazine to you 4 months later. For the price of it i don't know i pay 43.00 a year for my newspaper on line.I will start subscribing again and will see you in May.P.S. the newspaper is Sunday only.one more thing Mike could you not tie the on line version together with the hard copy for a extra fee i would go for that
Mike, I would certainly be interested in an online version of the magazine.
Subscription to BCM - "X" Dollars.
Online delivery - no extra charge
Postal Mail delivery - additional "Y" Dollars.
Works for me!
Some interesting notes and ideas. Maybe a choice, on line or snail mail or both. Pricing is going to be the debate as well. I hope to get more feedback and ideas.

Hi Mike,
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Here is another idea,
Mag subscription- X$
Online edition- small additional fee for web and design costs
1 yearly free premium ad with both above
Nick-
Mike,
I echo Nick's wish that you and your familyhave a wonderfull Thanksgiving.
I also echo his suggestion. I would pay an extra fee for the on-line version.
I think many would pay a fee to be able to call up "old issues" and the articles. Sort through them for subjects etc. Like to see this bundled and have the mag as the required first step....for the teams sake, now.
Happy holidays Amigo,
John
Mike,
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. One of the things I'm thankful for this Thanksgiving is the freedom to subscribe to whatever magazines I choose, and to participate on BB such as this one. What a great learning resource and what great fellow busnuts!
Dennis
Happy Thanksgiving Mike and family and all the gang down at the offices!

I would be more than happy to put the old issues in searchable PDF archive format so that they could be sent to customers or set them up online for a small renumeration. ;)
Putting the magazine online seems to be a popular move, Especially for those that full time and travel a lot.
I hope you have a great day and a better tomorrow!
Dallas, Cat and feline family!

I missed 5 issues this past summer and fall thanks to our postal system it would be nice if we could get it online and it ends up a lot of weight to carry in bus to be able to download as a pdf and have to search through would be great.

Lots of good ideas. We will offer an on line version soon along with some other cool online things to go with it. Going to be sharp. Next week we will have the new site plan, I think you will all like it. We will be offering 3 to 5 minute podcast on buses, repairs, and campgrounds to name a few of the new fun things for the on line mag. So next time your own and about take a quick video of the campground for others to look at before they head that way.
I have been a subscriber since 1992, have attended all but one of the rallies (missed Biloxi >:() and have attended one of the great week long workshop presented by Tom Winterhalter. I have written a couple of articles for the publication and been a vendor at the last few rallies. Will be a vendor again next year if you ever get the application information published (hint hint ;)).
With that said, I have to clearly state that I have gotten much more than my monies worth over the years (good and lean). I truly hope that you are taking a giant step up in your publication. More importantly, I hope the bus conversion community (with and without buses) step up and support you.
I strongly (!!!) urge you to do the online publication option. Like others, we travel a lot and it kills me to have to wait to catch up until we get home. Absolutely the best option would be to allow print subscribers to also select the online option for a reduced cost.
Dallas' suggestion to have reprints of magazines or articles on line (for a fee) is a great idea. There are lots of folks just coming into the crazy world of bus conversions and they can benefit from all of the past published information.
Thanks again MAK!

Bus Conversions Magazine reminiscing.
Just received the December 2007 issue of Bus Conversion Magazine and it started me reminiscing about how far the magazine has come since its first issue in February 1992 (which had the wrong year on the cover).
For those who don't have a copy of that issue, it was just 40 pages on stock just a little heavier than newsprint.
I came on board as editor for the July '92 issue after telling Mike about my favorite instrument to pick, which is the nit. I saw the first two issues and it drove me crazy that there was such a fantastic source of information for the Bus Nuts of the world and they needed to be able to read it without being distracted by such things as the difference between "their" and "there" and whether or not there was an apostrophe in "its."
It was a great ride through the March '94 issue when I realized I still had "itchy feet" and went back out on the road in my 4106 - "Whither Then."
Oh, the days of trying our best to get the magazine sent out by the first day of the printed month on the cover, and the arguments about how much white space there should be. (I didn't win that argument but thank goodness some later editor did.)
Mike put me on an incentive program and so at one time the magazine was up to 120 pages (that didn't last long - the incentive program that is).
I've seen many improvements over the years and I am looking forward to the new ones coming up in the January issue.

I am ready to purchase the online version only! I had years of old magazines laying around and eventually scanned a few good articles for my own library. The rest recycle. I would love to have an entire PDF searchable library at my fingertips for reference during a project or repair.
The BUSNUTS Library of Congress sure sounds good to me.
Mike and I live in California, the Govenor is pushing green technology in a big way and since MAK is published in CA, shouldn't we try and go GREEN?
You know, say a tree or Woodchuck ;D
I look forward to the new style, I hope they put a big section in for the DIY busnut. A detailed project with plans, materials...... and the like was a very exciting part of getting the mag each month.
Perhaps for those of us who were past subscribers, it would be nice to have access to the magazine (online) to check it out and resubscribe.
Thanks Mike for all you do!
Happy Holidays
Grant
The online version of the magazine will be available with the Feb issue. A new subscription form is in the Jan magazine and will be on line in a few days. The new site is in the works to handle this so give us a few trials and maybe a few errors when it starts.
Also, on the new site will be a place where you can upload a short video of your favorite campground... as well as down load one (Free stuff). For people planing a trip, it really is GREAT to get some kind of idea before you book a spot and arrive and wish you didn't. Also will have available short video downloads for bus repairs, projects and bus shells. Its really taking shape and going to be fun and informative. So start taking short 1 to 4 minute videos of campgrounds around the US and send them to us. We will have a link to do so on the new site. Nothing is in concrete, so let me know of problems.
The Online version will be the same as the printed magazine at $45 per year. Yes you can get both with a big discount. Details in a few days.
Mike
Stunning. Mike, you are about to surpass my expectations. I figured it would take a year. This is indeed good news. What got into you? :)
Here's looking at even greater success for your publishing empire!
Mike a friend of mine gave me a copy of Dec magazine and the subscription rate is 38.00 when does it go to 45.00
The rate will take effect when people renew the old subscriptions as they expire or for new subscribers on Jan 1. The rates the same for snail mail or online. People who already have longer subscription are not affected until it runs out. (Moral of that is always renew for the longer period, because we know that cost are going to rise, such as postage, labor cost, printing cost, fuel and transportation cost, collage tuition, (I was kidding). I really am excitied about the new and improved magazine. iy will take a few months to get it all done, but we are working it hard and fast.
