Hello Skip :      thanks for the info..    I need to figure out how to do the pdf thing also..   what is the option thing?
Anyway  back to the turbo question.
The L10  Cummins engine  CPL 1994 (CPL is certified parts list)  270HP 10 liter;    which is what Skip has in his bus  and I am going to install in my MCI 7 has a turbo with the following info:
Holset  is cast into the housing...
The tag says Assy 3531861  Kit 3803578RX
Cast into the exhaust side is 19-41050   ?52505 USA    2702A
Any ideas what this all means?
So  when I go to the  Cummins turbo website it gives me a whole bunch of manuals with HO XX numbers and none match up to this beast... It probably is too old because this engine is an 89 version  mechanical  and not in production anymore???
I found oil in the outlet when I pulled it off the engine and the aftercoooler was oily..   I think that possibly the seal is bad?? No lateral play in the wheel.
I don't believe it will be too difficult to rebuild but I like to have as much info as possible before I take thinks apart.. Generally a manual details the correct procedures for disassembly  etc...    Sorry if I did not get it clear before ...  thanks again.   happy busssin  Mike..
