Title: Picture finally up!
Post by: lostagain on October 21, 2007, 07:20:42 PM
After much frustration, trials and tribulations, I was finally able to put up this picture in my profile! Of course the trick was to reduce its size... Seems simple after the fact... Thanks to my good wife Valerie for her help. This is what I drive in my spare time. Built in Winnipeg for Greyhound, sold to Brewster's (Banff) in 1966. I drove it and other 96's in the 70's. Sold in '77 to Bill Mundy who did the first conversion. I bought it 3 years ago and have since redone the interior and turboed the 4-71 DD. We use it lots in the summer with our 2 teenaged sons. I just love it because of all the memories it brings back...
The other bus in my life now is our town's Junior Hockey team's MCI 102D3 (S60, Eaton-Fuller 7 speed) that I maintain and drive as a volunteer.
So I guess I am a pretty lucky retired old bus driver!

Picture looks great!  Nice work.  Thanks also for the bus history - that is an interesting story.

Best Regards, Phil
