Title: Trip to Florida some time around the middle of November 2007.

OK Folks,
The P8M4905A is getting ready for a trip to South Florida from East Texas.
The question is what would be a good idea to bring along in the way of spare parts?
I have a good selection of hand tools that I am bringing along with the tools a maintenance manual&parts manual and wire diagram,Spare lamps.And lot's of Delo40wt oil.
Plus a garage index book and credit cards with a high limit.
Also a phone directory with Luke's phone number on the 1st page.
For a Co-pilot I am bringing Fred Rayman who has just retired from Jefferson Lines in OKC,OK after 38 years of bus driving.
Lot's of miles with the GMC Buffalos under his belt. ::)
Our trip will take us from Palestine,Texas to Shreveport,LA across I-20 to Jackson,MS to Hattiesburg,MS to Mobile,AL I-10 east to Tallahassee,FL pick up US27/US19 to Chiefland,FL US27 to Ocala,FL I-75 south to Bradenton,FL FL-70 to Arcadia,FL to Okeechobee,FL FL-710 to West Palm Beach,FL south on I-95 to Delray Beach,FL.
Any bus fans along the way that we can say hello to?

Hey JLV,

I am about 30 minutes South of Ocala.

I can also give you a more scenic route once you get below Ocala, down to Arcadia.

Take 470 at Lake Panasoffkee East to SR471, 471 South to 98, 98 South To Arcadia.

Be happy to give you a place to park for the night and feed ya if your plans work out this way.

   Cliff's route is good, but you have to get off 98 at Dade City and take 39 south through Plant City to avoid all the Lakeland traffic. Call me for the exact route.  We have several 30 amp connections. If you are going to be near Ft. Meade, FL  November 9-11, you could join us at the SE Curiser's rally that will be held at the Florida Flywheeler's Antique Engine & Tractor Show. If it is after Nov. 11, we will be at home.  Call us (home-863-993-3683 or cell 863-444-3400).  Jack

I am going to have to try that 39 South route.

I usually just go through Lakeland, off rush hour of course.

OK Folks,
Update on Florida trip now it looks like it will be after Thanksgiving or around the 1st week of December.
