Title: Auction Results - 3 Bus Conversions at Auction
Post by: edroelle on October 13, 2007, 01:48:01 PM
I posted this about a week and a half ago about the auction that occured today.

All 3 buses were converted and sold with 15 to 17.5 KW diesel generators.  They all need work.  But, I consider them bargains.  (None went to scrap and were purchases by fellow bus nuts.)  The results -

MCI 5a , 8V71 Auto - $3200.
MCI 8 , 8V71 Auto - $3200.
MCI 8 , 8V92T Auto (Heartland Conversion I think).  - $12,000.

Ed, it was good to finally meet you at the auction today. Even though I love my Prevost I am real excited about the MC8. I appreciate you and the other CCO members helping me get familiar with the MCI. My wife and I are planning on picking it up tomorrow. Hopefully it will be an uneventual trip home. We are looking forward to seeing you and the other bus-nuts at the CCO rally.

The 93 Cadillac went for about $5500-$6000 as I remember.

The CCO, Converted Coach Owners,  Halloween Rally, 10-19-07, is described in the Upcoming Rally Section.   This rally is in central Michigan.  Other CCO rallies throughout the year are in Ontario, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.
