Where are you in Utah? I'd like to see your fishbowl if you'd like to show me.

Are you talking safety and emission or DOT?

Yes, we need safety and to my knowledge diesel emissions too unless you live where it's exempt. I'm in Salt Lake and of course need the emissions unless I register out of the county.

We may escape down to Hurricane sometime this winter when gets unbearable here with the inversion and cold.

Your bus will need a state safety inspection only. You can have it done at any inspection station that does large trucks. The regular stations only do up to 12000 lbs vehicles. Kent

Are you sure about that? I'd really love for that to be true but I was told that Utah adopted diesel emissions in the counties that require emissions about 5 years back. I haven't checked the regs on it but that's what my mechanic who does my cars said although he doesn't do diesels. Maybe Hurricane and Hooper doesn't? Salt Lake County requires emissions on cars and I register my muscle cars out of the county.
If it's true that I don't need one then I'm a very happy man!

DO what I did, I googled "NC State Auto Inspections" and it led me to where I needed to go.  A a bonus I learned my DIESEL pickup only needs the $10.00 safety inspection and not the almost $30.00 safety and emissions inspection.
Thanks a ton!

Clipperman,

Which fishbowl do you have?  I would like to see some photos if you have any.

We need one.  I have discovered that there are more Fishbowl conversions around than I thought.
