For what length of time would you be comfortable leaving the rear of your bus on ramps only supported by one of the duals on each side? Just thinking about stresses on those two tires/hubs/etc.
An hour?
A day?
A week?
I'm asking because I just built some ramps and while they are trustworthy, I'm thinking it might be best to get everything up there and let it stay overnight just for my comfort level. (Call me chicken! :))
But if that's too much stress (and it very well might be) on only those two tires then I'll just git under there!

As long as you do not choose to get underneath the coach, a very long time. Weeks for sure, perhaps seasons. You are not going to hurt the one tire, wheel or place an undue strain on axles, bearings, hubs, etc.. All you have is a static load, with no dynamic stresses.
However....yeah, one does NOT want to crawl under the coach at all unless it is properly and safely supported--which would also mean having both or all four rear tires on the ramp and the ramps on very firm ground with concrete being the best. Over night? No problem.

I have some ramps that are only single wheel wide that I've been using that way for yrs! I ain't seen no reason to be scared! Yes it does put extra weight on the tire on the ramp! But if ya notice on the tire and the VIN plate both, there are air pressures listed for single or duals; in my opinion if it weren't safe to use them in a single capacity they wouldn't list drives both ways! Also it's not like you are running down the rd generating heat! Just yesterday I had Dallas & Scotty load my short ramps & tools & stuff and come to my rescue on the side of the Parkway, where I used the ramps on the inside duals to get the bus up where I could get under it and change the blown trans cooler hose! FWIW ;D BK ;D

If I was using one set it would be on the inside dual.
I had mine up on the two ramps on each side for about 30 days while I was redoing my exhaust.
I carry one set on the coach for emergencies and the other at the shop.
And to be honest, If I didn't trust them for 30 days at least, I wouldn't get under them for 1 minute. ;)

All of the sudden within the last month or so I have witnessed four different examples of extreme risky ramping behavior and started to second guess everything I thought I knew. I do that a lot. :(
But on the other hand whenever I don't 'measure twice, cut once', I always stomp and scream, so I wanted to just verify that I haven't lost all my marbles yet. LOL
When we were working on the underside of our 4104, brakes, air lines, etc.,we had it on the ramps for a week at a time. Smart money is to block the wheels that are on the ground, just to prevent any possiblity of a roll off.
