Since my original post with the picture of my beast was at night and not a really clear shot I thought I'd throw this up. We just ran it around the parking lot of the local drag strip a few times just for giggles and to help get used to the thing. Helps me get used to turning the beast.
Yep, the rear bumper is off. It was never mounted since the previous owner was going to mount a tow hitch but she runs and seems to run rather well.....knock on wood. I REALLY need some windows!!
I'm going to delete the vid sort of soon so.........

Guess I really need a life, I actually watched and enjoyed seeing / hearing you drive that thing around. Or maybe I'm just a busnut. I sure like the way the two strokes sound!
I called my wife in to see the video and said to her, 'How come we never did that?" haha... Very cool!
That's gonna be a nice bus when your done. I drove around for quite some time with no windows and still only have 2. Good luck

That's better than anything on TV! Maybe we can all get a deal on group therapy :P.
Another with the boss driving:

She's afraid that the neighbors will think we're white trash for parking it here. It is white so I was thinking I'll just paint the word trash on the side and be done with it. ;D
Very COOL! I would let my wife drive ours but the steering wheel is almost as big as she is! Don't even think she could reach the brake or clutch either. ;)
Nice coach, keep up the good work.

Nice looking bus. Did you see the big smile on her face when she pulled up at the end?
It'll be easier to drive when you get some windows installed.
Where are that you have a nice horizon like that?
Craig, that is Salt Lake City out at the Rocky Mountain Raceway looking east towards the benches of Mt Olympus where soon she'll be parked here at home with any luck.

It's great that your wife is driving the bus, I have to find a big parking lot also so my wife can also learn. But driving at 15 mph is different than 55.
When you do install your windows-go MUCH larger than you think. My windows are 76 x 34-my wife and I REALLY love the openness it gives the interior. I'll never understand why some put small windows and/or very few windows in- we're out here to see the sights, aren't we? My windows have a light tint. Some will argue that less windows are easier to keep cool, but recently was in 107 degree weather. Ran 2 of the 3 roof airs and kept the interior at a nice 75 degrees. Did have the shades angled so the sun didn't shine in. Good Luck, TomC
Yeah, the SOUND is the best part! I'm gonna make Marilyn watch the video and read all your comments so she will know I'm not the only one who needs help! LOL

If you were a therapist, would you wanna take on a group like us??? ;D ;D
I guess I did ok for for only $200.00 cash out of pocket. ;D

Because they like living in a cave.
Cool beans!
Ten years from now you will see it again and remember the glee. :)
I don't have any videos OF my bus but I have some made IN my bus ;D
I have an idea. How about if everyone who can and is so inclined uploads videos of their coach on Youtube and use the tag of MAK or BNO or something like that so everyone knows where to find them in one centralized spot?
(It's much easier than I thought it would be in case you've never done it)
I know I'd love to see many of the coaches on here inside or out, moving or static and realistically I probably won't see many of them in person. A video is much better than a picture!
I sort of prefer not to see the videos made IN the bus if it's what I'm fearing. ;D :o
Just a thought.
