Title: neutral safety switch v730 removing

Has anybody removed 1 of these from the side of the tranny v730 allsonI am going to take it out and put it on the tranny i am installed in my bus that does not have 1 on the new tranny,is it basic off and on or will the tranny fall apart when i take it out??lol//??or should i just bypass the whole switch?? i have it i might as well use it right?

It unscrews from trans, no big deal. I have the special socket for this task - Kent moore tool.
It can be done with a wrench, might have to buy a cheapo and grind it a bit, lose a little fluid during removal.

The neutral safty switch is on the back of the trans below the yoke. The one on the sidw is for back-up lights. Donn

The RTS" I wrenched on with 6V92TA's and V730's had the neutral safety switch threaded into the trans just above the shift linkage lever. 2  plugs on valve body by output flange were main pressure and reverse.
