I am looking to reskin the outside of my coach, I did some research and Kemlite seems to be the way to go. To get any kind of a deal it seems I have to buy 250 lineal feet (102" wide). I only need 80 lineal feet, is there any one else out there intrested in this product? Or does anyone know a place that is reasonable to buy from? I am looking at the .12 product and I live in Calgay Alberta (Canada)
Thx Ross
I'm in the same baot! Need about 80 ft x 6', If anyone has a thought on this please chime in.
Thanks

How about a half thought.
Get one more person to go in and buy the 250' and then have a skinning party...
Between three nuts and maybe some others you could do all three in a very short time.
Maybe even a long weekend.

I used stucco sided Kemlite 4' x 8' sheets in my bathroom which is working well. I assume that Kemlite makes a smooth sided product. I know from the installation that Kemlite will provide zero structural support to the bus. If your bus is like an Eagle that has a self supporting cage frame, then no problem. On an MCI, I don't know if the skin plays a part in the support structure of the bus, but I do know that the GMC's were built like an airplane with the skins being part of the structure. Hopefully you all know these variables before starting the project, since from my experience, Kemlite is only a covering with no structural support at all. Good Luck, TomC
Try the local trailer repair shops (Fruehauf, Trailmobile etc.) They use it to line some dry vans and almost all reefers. They may not use the tradenamed Kemlite but it is generic FRP (fibreglass reinforced plastic).
One other place to try is dairy supply places. They sell it to line dairy barns and milkhouses. You might have to go outside the city limits to find a dairy supply that deals with the farmers.
I have a 102C3, and the structural support is on the interior panels and by the way things are only rivieted on the top and bottom of the sign board I don't think there is any structural sport there.
I plan to reinforce the window openings not used by windows
I Haven't pulled the sign board off yet, so until its of I,m not totally sure about structure.
I have tried all over locally for the fiberglass reinforced plastic, but have only found it in 4'x8' sheets or in a thinnermaterial than .12
thx Ross
