I have a Dixson 500 Series speedometer. I went to their website looking for information on adjustments or troubleshooting. They refer to Chart #071-51536, of course it is not listed on the site. Does anyone have a copy of that documentation? This chart and information is for setting the dip switches in the proper location.

I too have been having trouble with the Dixson web page. Not trying to steal the question from your thread, Paul, but I have a mismatch in my speedo head and my sending unit and for the life of me I can't get any answers out of the company who inhaled Dixson.
I'll be watching for any furthur info and thanks for bringing up the topic.

The OEM speedometer in our MC-8 is a non programmable Dixson speedometer. When we had problems with it we called Presion Speedometer in Phoenix, AZ www.precisionspeed.com. Their tech department was very helpful, giving me instructions to test and diagnose the problem. After determining the faulty component, we purchased a new sensor from them. Later we purchased a Tach from them that operates off the R terminal of out alternator. They were very helpful assisting with setting the dip switches on it to match our gear drive 50 DN alternator. Perhaps they will be able to assist you. Jack

According to the web site the calibration scale is the same number #071-51536. Mine is 80 mph, magnetic sensor driven. I think it will work. If you are able to send it on pdf. format email me at paul_lawry@yahoo.com.

Hey Paul, I will get it off to you as soon as possible. First I have to find someplace to scan it. The nearest scanner I know of is at Jack Conrads house and I have to give Paula enough notice so she can make dinner ;D
