Title: Floor leveling on a MCI 102C3
Post by: alltech on September 17, 2007, 01:08:12 PM
I have just finished raising my roof on my coach, and am looking at leveling the floor.

I intend on removing the old floor, has anyone been through this process before?

Just looking for some tips

Thx Ross

We replaced our original wood floor with 3/4" T&G plywood subflooring (fastened with bolts and screws same as the OEM floor except we allso used polyurethane construction adhesive). Rather than try to level the floor, after installing the plywood on the walls, we measured down from the top of the wall 2' at each end and snapped a chalkline. This was our reference line and everything was referenced off this line. The difference was made up in the toe kicks under the counters (about 1/8" per foot if I remember correctly).  Jack
