Title: E-mailing you
Post by: mak on September 16, 2007, 11:07:53 AM
Moving up to the 21 century, Bus Conversions Magazine will start sending out renewal notices and other bus related info via email to members of this board and magazine subscribers.  They will be exclusively from Bus Conversions Magazine, your names will not be sold or given to anyone else, which has been the case for over 15 years. So when (and if) you get the first one, you can opt out. But I would wait awhile before doing so and see what happens with it. It might be a cool thing, time will tell.

Sounds ok to me.

My label has 0711 on the top left corner. Is this the expiration date, Nov 2007?

Can I renew by email or online?

Hi Mike, I just learned who you are.

Thanks a ton for letting us use this forum!

And for the record, I just signed up for three years.  (Figured since it will take me that much time and more, I had better learn from the pros!)

Nick,

You didn't answer my renewal question, or is that up to someone else?

I'd like to be able to renew with paypal.

Also I would like to be able to place adds online & use paypal when it sells.

I'd also like the powerball winning number.

I'll settle for 2 out of 3  ;D ;D ;D ;D

MAK, Thanks for tolerating us & letting play in your sandbox!

Yes we take paypal... I'll have Dennis put the button on the website. I never though of it before, but we do take paypal, I know because my wife spends from the paypal account getting the kids stuff.

Guess I should be careful in what I wish for  ;)

Any chance of placing adds & paying only if/when it sells?
Just thought I'd ask. I'll be the first to admit I have no business sense (come to think of it, I've been accused of having no sense long before now. . . .) ;D

THANKS!

I'm more likely to see it if you post it here then if you email it to me. :-\

Even if it's in the "my messages" and not a thread.

In regards to pay when it sells... that really does not work for several reasons, but what does work is pre pay 3 months for the ad, if it does not sell we run the ad free for 3 months.. but if it does not sell in 3 months, something might be wrong with the ad or pricing or product. I wish the post office would mail for free.. or at least stop raising the cost. Did you ever think about my postage cost? If the postage goes up .2 cents an ounce, and the magazine weights 12 oz and for easy of math, lets say I send out 10,000 per month, times 12 months... and then when the post office seems to lose 20 to 30 magazines a month and I have to send them out first class at $2.78... it all starts to ad up, anybody interested in buying a magazine?

I told you I had no business sense  :(

I do support your magazine & talk it up whenever I can. I also went for first class postage due to the post office keeping an occasional issue for themselves :o

BTW, The adder for first class postage was well worth it for me  ;D  Thanks for giving me the option.
(And I've never once bitched moaned about the price - for me it is one of those things I just gotta have  ;D)

Thanks again for the hard work that you do  ;D
