One week from today!! Just one week!! The rally will begin one week from today. We have a few folks pulling in on Thursday and some staggering through the weekend. We have a few folks coming in their cars just to check us out. Any of you that haven't committed to being here can still plan on showing up. We don't care if you have or bring your bus, we just want you to be here. On Thursday and Friday you are own with food but on Sat we will have (hopefully) homemade doughnuts and will have lunch and dinner. Anyone wanting to contribute to the fixings for dinner is welcome. On Sunday morning anyone that wants to is welcome to ride to the restaurant Bryce has been bragging about. The home of the "throwed rolls". Yummy food and also a fun place to eat.
Also, Bryce has posted that there is a bus going to the casino's on Friday. The bus will leave here no later than 9 AM on Friday and will leave the casino area sometime around 6 PM. He will post more about that on his other post. Anyone wanting to go gamble, shop or just wander around the home of superman is welcome to take that trip.
If you plan on arriving here some time on Friday there will be someone here all day to help you get parked and make you feel welcome. If you bring a toad there is....ta da....a couple of Wal-Mart's nearby. We don't have any special shopping plans but can always see that you can find, or be driven to, a store.
The pit is going to be available and lots and lots of advice from all the other butnuts will be totally free.
Looking forward to seeing you folks that are coming and disappointed that every single one of you can't be here. Especially since Dallas and Bryce have promised to TRY to be on good behavior. (good luck on that one). Cat
Don't count us totally out yet Cat. Uncles Ned has offered to come to Franklin and tow this poor old decrepit MC5 over there as a toad....and even bring Miss Jackie. Hmmm. I might take him up on that and
stow away in one of the bays...
Nah, that foxy devil would search me out and there'd go another good scheme.
Bob
Right Bob.. What Ned offered to do was to come by and take Jackie with him and you are trying to sneak away with them. I know how it is. Cat
Cat,
Good to see there's another silver-tounged devil to keep Bob in check.
If I had a nickel for everytime I heard "Bob is so nice, sweet", I need a Malox... ;D
Have a great time at your rally, I know its going to be FUN!
Cliff
Dallas, Cat, BK,
I'm sorry to miss another of your wonderful Rallies. Somehow, somewhere, I will make it to one! I promise..
You can bet on us dropping in on you guy's again sometime this winter.
Folks, if you are able to go to their Rally, by all means, do so. You will meet some of the most kind hearted bus friends anywhere....
I wish you guy's great weather, great food, great memories, and lots of new friends!
Enjoy!
Nick-
Nick, we hate you aren't going to be here with us. We would love to be able to see you sometime this winter but aren't sure we are quite in your route to FL these days. We are really excited about this rally and the opportunity to meet more "nuts". Haven't met a single one that wasn't a super person and don't think we ever will.
Unfortuanately, we will not be able to make this rally. We have spent time with Dallas & Cat at a couple rallies plus visiting with them at there place on a couple occasions. You will never meet anyone nicer than these two. We have not had the opportunity to meet BK yet, but hope to at some point. I am sure this will be a great rally. Jack
Cat, don't let Dallas see this, I wouldn't want him to get a "big head" LOL
Sorry Jack, Dallas already saw it. I know because he can't get back in the bus...his head has gotten too large. BK is very nice and a very thoughtful guy. He is tops as far as we are concerned. (Hope he doesn't see this). Cat

Too late I just did! LOL! ;D BK ;D
I hope you guys have LOTS OF FUN at your Rally. I am sure there will be lots of lie swapping! ;)
Maybe next year we could plan the rally's so they aren't so close together. We will have to touch bases and co-ordinate the dates so there is a large gap inbetween. Then maybe folks can go to both!
Take lots of pictures and enjoy, enjoy and enjoy!
At least you didn't have to move your location like we did, what a pain in the you know what!
Happy Trails,
Paul
Dreamscape
Paul, since you had to move your location anyway, ya coulda moved it to TN! LOL Cat

4880 Claude Tucker Rd = Shop
4882 " " " = Landlords trailer
4884 " " " = BK's house
All 3 on same property and use the same driveway!
If coming up Hwy 22
CROSS OVER US 51, BUT DO NOT FOLLOW 22 & 51 (like Dallas)! [/u] Stay straight on up little 2 lane (N. Section Line Rd.) ! Turn right on 2nd road on right (it'll be 2 miles after
CROSSING US 51!) That is Claude Tucker Rd! go up a little hill and round the right hand curve and we'll be the 5th driveway on the left! Long gravel drive as we are sitting way back off the road in an over grown field!
Now if anyone wants directions from KY or farther North! Interstate users! take Purchase Parkway south to Fulton, KY. PPkWy ends at TN state line take a right on US 51 ramp! Then almost immediately take a right on Ken-Tenn HWY's ramp. Right at stop sign on KN-TN HWY 4.5 miles (Watch for Ken-Ten Video ya can't miss it! It's a PINK A FRAME on the left) when ya see the video store , start slowing down Claude Tucker Rd. will be the next rd. to the right (angles off the hwy) follow Claude Tucker Rd. across US 51 and around a few bends watching to the right you'll see us before you get to the driveway! It'll be on the right, when ya see the Blue Bird Hill sign turn right in the second gravel driveway (there are 2 grave drives parallel to each other!)
OK now if ya want the scenic rte from KY use US 45 south instead of the PPkWy! Then follow the directions above for KN-TN HWY (use 45 W)!
All this clear as mudd? Any questions let us know! ;D BK ;D
Ned, and everyone else that needs directions....
Here is the Google map from US Hwy 45 to 4884 Claude Tucker Road, Union City, TN. 38261

Hopefully, We'll have a bus down by the beginning of the driveway to let you know your almost there....
I really, really wish I could make it this year, but I need to work on my bus this next weekend to get it ready for my trip in a few weeks. Still got electrical to do as well as get the engine back together.
I was going to put my radiator back together today, but I decided to take BK's suggestion and replace more of the hoses and use the PowerGrip SB clamps which I won't be able to get until Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm probably going to pull the turbo and take it to get looked at tomorrow too.
Brian,
We really hate that you can't make it, but we also understand what it's like trying to get ready for a major trip.
But, then again, there are gonna be some of the finest Detroit Diesel experts in the world here, along with some guys that are really smart about wiring and electrical and stuff.
And I'll be here to fetch and tote!
You could probably get more work done in 2 days here than you could in a week at your house by yourself.
Besides, there are other Dinas coming and your little MP Viagra is probably kinda lonesome to hear:
"Yo Queiro, ZOOM ZOOM?
If you change your mind you know where we are and how to get here....

I almost forgot to mention....
If anyone needs help getting here, and you are in the local area, you can call Cat to have her guide you in!
Her number is 8 for 3 - for 9 sex - ate tew tew 5.
Oh, and Sweety, you don't have to thank me!

Yup we really do understand!

Yup I ain't sure who all will be here, and as last yr I'll be here and there in and out on the go! But the good news is Dallas and some other good wrenches will be here in my absence!

Again with the quite knowledgeable and experienced folks attending this yr. You probably could get lots done! How 'bout it folks, Dallas, Cat, anyone ? Can we get an update or an IDEA of who all might be here besides US, Uncle Ned & wife, Don Fairchild (2 stroke guru!), Gary & Linda (photo pro), Jerry & wife (electrical expert as well as all around knowledge), uh-mm I know Dallas has mentioned others but I don't remember names well!
SO IF YA COMING SPEAK UP AND LET EVERYBODY KNOW! (or at least me!)

Yeah Dallas told me of the fellow bringing his DINA, but again I forget names easily until I've met them and heard the name hundreds of times! LOL!

Yup he knows he was 2nd one here last yr!
Seriously Brian the weather is back in the normal range and going to be perfect! And the garage is in much more organized condition now and we can get buses in both sides! So if ya can make it, it be great and I really do think that some of the great folks attending could really help ya get quite a bit accomplished! (notice I'm note committing to it myself as we are booking buses left and right and I already know
I got 2 charters to do! And mom & dad have 3 they will leave here with me Friday AM and may not return as they have a run SAT, then leave Smyrna, TN SUN for Cape Cod, MA for a 7 day trip! So anyone arriving after Thursday, probably won't get to meet them!)
;D BK ;D

Or you can call me as I know the area better! Don't make no difference to me! 270.705.1139
Gee, BK, just because I got Dallas lost getting here you have the idea I might get someone else lost?
Remember, we weren't really lost, we were just sightseeing. LOL ;D ::)
Ok, for those of you wondering who is coming here is a list of those that I have heard from:
Gary and Linda LaBombard
Ned (Huggybear ) and Wilma
Don Fairchild
Mike Hill and Jay McKnight
Wulf Ward
Jerry and Sharon Leibler
Those that might be able to attend are:
Don Hatfield and Wife
Cody and famiy
Songman
PD102 and wife
Craig Kerr
I'm not sure of these last ones, if they are coming, if they are bringing family and not even sure of some of their real names. Sorry about having to go with screen names
There may be others that Dallas forgot to tell me about. Anyone else that wants to come is welcome. Just pop in and know you are welcome. Bring your bus or not...just come and have fun.
Sure wish we could have finagled getting over to your Rally guys :( . . . just wasn't in the cards for us this time :'(, hoping you'll do it again next year though ;). Hope you guys have a blast and the weather treats you kindly ;D. Christy and Larry Hicks.
You can add me as a most likely. I'm going to try and show up Friday afternoon. I'm doing a show 105 miles away Thursday night. Hopefully there will be some other musicians and we can have a little jam sessions. I've been known to play a little bluegrass, gospel, country, southern rock, easy listening and of course the bad stuff I make my living at.
Way Cool Ron!
I'll dig my guitar out and try to follow along!
If we can get rid of the wives, umm I mean let them go off on their own without our supervision, maybe I can learn a ditty or two from you and vice versa!
Nothin' like a cold refreshment and a hot, unh, song!
I hope the tire situation is getting better!
Dallas
I'm moving tags to the drives on that side, chaining up the tags in the morning. Then Bryce hooked me up with a guy that has 4 takeoffs about 15 miles from where my bus will be parked for a few days. $125 each. That should get me by till I can save up for this unexpected cost.
Cat, change that Pd102 to DD/102 and the might be to are coming, I told Dallas the other night but he and NCbob were in a pretty big cloud of alpine green so he probably forgot ;), LOL. We should be there about 7:00 Fri. evening, see ya soon, Darrell
Darrell, I'm glad you are coming and you can use whichever alias you want to. Sorry about the mix-up. Be safe!!
