Ho, ho, Doug....None of our buses is big enough to carry enough radiators to cool that sucker! ::)

And I sure wouldn't want to feed it, either! :-\

I guess if the 12V149 won't fit, I should sideline putting a little 10 cylinder like this in:

If some benefactor was to drop that off here, I'd put it in a Scenicruiser as a mid engine :o & drive both rear axles! I'd also fix GM's lax engineering so that I could pull a suitable trailer for the necessary toys.  ;D

Might as well go ahead and make it all wheel drive and drive all three axles. LOL

Boy I don't know BK, you drive fast enough now with just an eight pack in the back. How fast are you thinking of going with twelve? Maybe 125mph or heaven's no 150mph LOL. And as for being good that initiation you said I had to do because all wannabee's had to before they could buy a bus. Well I must say you have the worst snipe hunting I've ever seen in Tenn. Next time let's go hunting in WVa if I'm holding the sack again.

Okay, so lets say you found a way to mount it, took care of the cooling issues, and set it up for 2 or 3 drive axels.   At 1200 HP, wadda you going to do for a transmission?

Don't worry- Allison makes 6 speed automatics up to 2300hp.  Course they weigh in at 3700lb.  Good Luck, TomC

Same thing hot rodders have been doing for years - learn how to drive the thing or get good at replacing the broken parts.  ;D

I stuck a pretty hot 350 chevvy into my 46 Ford coupe and retained the stock Ford three speed tranny and rear end. Believe me, I was very careful every time I took off.
