For all us newbees I'll ask the simple questions.
If you have a 6V92, my understanding is that you use three sets. Do these all go on one side? Is "low" three on one side and "high" three on each side? 8V92 uses four sets. Is that four one one side or two on each side? Doesn't the pressure of these operating on one side and not the other put additional stress on the engine, since it's not balanced pressure?

Usually, the 6V-92 or 6V-71 is a single unit per cylinder head. The 8V is two units per head. And no it does not put undue pressure on one side since all the connecting rods are on one crankshaft. The Jake units have been around too many years with Millions of miles of running, they are extremely reliable and dependable units. Good Luck, TomC
