Hi Guys, My neighbor has a mci7 ( but no internet). He is wanting to install an awning and is wondering what if anything thingis needed for his curved roof line.Is any there special mounting hadware necessary? what is a good brand awning? Thanks Tomas
I recently installed a 20' Faulkner brand awning on my MC-7 with an 8" raised roof.
No special hardware required. Went on easy and looks good.
Regards.

thanks Mark, He does not have a raised roof so he was concerned with the curve.
The ZIP DEE is the best but the A&E is also good, both are made for specific coach roof lines.>>>Dan
I saw no mention of awning bead in any of the other posts...mine was a Carefree of Colorado and the bead didn't come with the awning installation kit. Wouldn't hurt to have a roll of butyl caulk handy when you make the installation.

Mine came on the bus, However, it is installed on the rail.
If you can work out getting it over the door, you'll like not having the rail in the way.
If you can manage it, treat your self to the poleless type and get the power option.
The destination is the place your gonna put your awning, its the best room in the house, life's short, don't scrimp.
IMHO, HTH
I also install a Zip Dee awning with an 8 inch roof raise. But theyhave arms for a stock roof height.
