Title: Another hidden treasure!
Post by: Busted Knuckle on August 17, 2007, 02:33:06 AM
Here's another conversion I found hiding in a back parking lot of the Antique Toy Museum, Branson, MO! I am sorry for the low light conditions, as even a bright as this coach was the parking lot was still pitch black! (by the way can ya tell I just recently bought myself a new compact camera to carry with me?!)   ???   ;D

looks like a very well done conversion, at least from the outside.  i'm sure the inside is equally well done.
did it look like a conversion for tour use or living in?

must not have been anyone home at the time, otherwise, they'd have invited you in for a visit and refreshments.

Well it looked loke the inside was set up for camping/living and was dated (I'd say 80's) but nicely done! The out side had just received a fresh coat of the bright yellow stuff as there was still overspray on tires etc. Also it had no tags on it, I'd guess they were gonna park it closer to the road to draw attention/customers into the Museum. They also had an old Indy style twin seater race car paint close to the same color parked next to the road with some stuffed animals dressed as driver & mechanic in it! The bus was supposedly hidden in the back lot. But how do you hide something like that from a bus nut? Better throw a tarp over it next time LOL!
