Title: Anybody going to Mexico this winter?
Post by: bobofthenorth on August 14, 2007, 07:31:04 PM
We're going down the Pacific coast starting the end of November.  We'll probably go as far as Barra de Navidad, maybe Manzanillo and then turn around and head for Quartzsite.  If someone else was down there at the same time it would be a shame to miss each other.

not to Mexico, but do say hello on the way by.  I have a place to park - although a little challanging to get into.  I'm also not sure of my travel plans that time of year, but do stay in touch, be great to meet you and see your bus.

San diego area.

Hi Bob ... we're trying to get down there again this year  ... we head down just after Xmas and end up around Rincón, Sayulita or Bucarias. This year we may head farther south towards Manzanillo but will have to see as the year progresses and time permits ... if I see your bus we'll stop in.

Hi, Bob.

We expect to get down that way this winter, but we don't know when, yet. We haven't taken our coach over to the Mexican side, but we were planning to, soon.

Maybe this is the winter that it will happen.

Ron:
We like to stay at Boca & we have friends that stay at Perula so we may be there too.  I want to go back to Teacapan so we will be there for a while.  We always stop at Alamos, staying at Dolisa.  We have a big "Mexican family" at Guasave so we will be spending some time at Las Glorias but that will be before Christmas.

Tom:
Hope to meet up.  If you have questions about Mexican travel don't be afraid to PM me.

Jim:
It would be great to meet but probably not this year.  We go down 15 to Vegas and then over to Tucson/Nogales - we don't plan to get to California this year.

Sound good Bob... may see down there. Can you email me a better picture of your bus?

Sorry Jim .. would love to see your bus and meet you ... I take the same route as Bob and try to stay out of Calif.

Bob(Bobofthenorth)

If your heading the Lethbridge and then heading down I-15 you'll pass within 4 miles of my place.

Welcome to stop in if you need a place to stay on your way down.

Ron - done

Skip - we might just take you up on that - careful what you wish for.  We normally overnight in Greyn Fertilizer's yard at Dutton.  We may have a different timetable this year so I'm not sure where we will be overnighting but I'll keep you in mind.

Dave

Been there, bought fertilizer points for my air seeder. I think it was under different ownership back then.

Stopping at Dutton probably put you at 12 hours of driving. Long day in anybodies book.

Well let me know how things work out. I'll even put the cows and horses away so as not to get your rig dirty. :)
