where can i ship my webasto out to be looked at ?started it up and alot of smoke came pouring out?? ps i live in north east! thanks john
Do it yourself!
Webasto has detailed maintenance manuals available online, just follow the steps.
Otherwise, the local charter company mechanic should work on it on the side for some cash.
happy coaching!

Or, ship it to Nick Badame and he or his guys will check it out. I intend to ship my Proheat there one of these days. (Mine is a Nimco takeout and certainly needs a tuneup before I install it.)
Hi John
Though this link is about Prevost, on the left side is an article written by a prevost owner who describes how to tune your webasto that should be of help. http://www.prevosman.com/index.html

What model Webasto do you have?? 8)
Check for bird / bug nests in the air intake area.
Make sure that outside air can get into the unit for combustion.
Check the air control shutter valve , if it closed yhe air can't get in.
Get a new oil spray nozzle , they are about $18.
Good luck

If you want to ship your Webasto furnace for service there is a person in Togonoxie, KS, who is a Certified technician. He just serviced our Webasto and it is working well. His name is Paul Soptick and the phone number for appointments and info is 913-845-3154. Paul's cell phone is 785-423-0908. He carries a good supply of parts and can get those that he doesn't have in short order.
Togonoxie is west of Kansas City about 40 miles.
Good Luck.
