Hi Paul ... If it's an MCI, Prevost or GM it shouldn't be a problem. There shouldn't be any importation taxes just fed and state taxes. There should be a web site for importing vehicles into the US and that will give you all the details. I think you have to send the bus documention to the boarder crossing, that you will cross at, 5 working days before you get here.

Superpickle, I have no answers, however some good advice.
Research it well.  You do not want to get to a POE and find out you do not have all of the I's crossed and the T's dotted! LOL
I have read posts from folks purchasing boats in CA and bringing them here.  Done right it's a breeze, not done right a nightmare.
Not trying to scare you, just please reseach it.

Shouldn't be any problem bringing anything into the states, probably be easer though to come in from the south, just fill it up with aliens and get a tax break at the same time ;D

Hi Paul  I have heard some issues related to emissions compliance on cars and motorcycles. A buddy moved from Canada and they would not let his 5 year old car into the states because it did not meet US emission standards.  I have imported into Canada 5 vehicles and never had any emission incidents. I guess our "air" is plentiful and clean  ;D

I don't think that there would be any emissions issues on a 20 yr old bus.

I cannot see Superpickle's photo anymore, it's just a red x. Is it just me, or is there a reason for it?

It's just that when Superpickle used the words "alien", "welfare" and "27 Kids" in one sentence the bells went off in Washington faster 'n a new brides pants.

They gave him the big red X.

;D ;D ;D
