Christoper, where do you live.  I found a place in Stuart, FL that has them for boats real cheap.  If you are not in a hurry and live in the SE or Midwest I can pick some up next trip down and deliver them to you.

You can usually find stainless piano hinge on the ePlace as well.

Most boat supply stores have them in stock.  Such as US Boat or West Marina.  Grainger has them on page 2220 in the 398 catalog.  Should be able to order them on-line  www.granger.com.  A 4 inch ball  bearing type is $31.30 each.  Part number 1WAZ8, just in case your interested.

I thought various folks make stainless hinges that are specifically designed to slide in where the rubber hinges go and are not plain piano hinges?
