Does any 1 know where do get key locks for the bay doors??
I bought some barrel locks for cabinets and modified, drilled to fit. Works great. They are all keyed alike. Got them from McMaster Carr, you might find them at the box stores.
Good Luck,
Paul
I got a set of four from Camping World and installed them on the baggage door release handles. They actually lock the handle, not the door-same result. It was a bit or work making them fit, they were too short, but the finished installation is very neat and looks original.
Here's an article on electric locks:

I would be a little concerned with lock failure with these if there were not another way in.

I've never had good luck with add-on electric locks, they always seem to get slightly out of adjustment just enough to fail to work. A manual emergency unlocking system is essential.
there's a member of the Great Lakes Converted Coaches chapter that i'll see next week at the rally. Butch has a machine shop and an MCI and makes a lock for bay doors that he advertises and sells. fits into the hole on the handle and turns with a key.
if yours is different, he can probably make whatever you need.
i needed gas lifts last year for my bay doors and none of them had the kind of fitting i needed. butch looked at it and made a couple small metal pieces that replace the normal lift rod ends so that they worked perfectly in my bus. made 4 of them for about $10. out of stainless.
let me know if you are interested and i'll either have butch contact you or i'll send you his number.
